CSNR has a long-established and well-embedded management structure in place. CSNR work to strengthen the ability of the marginalized to earn a decent living. We are organized into advocacy & research-based team in which the Director is the executive head of the organization, leading a group of Project Coordinators and Programme Officers. The programme officers hold responsibility conferred with and by CSNR Management. The team provides direct action creating an open and inclusive team culture.
Mr. Dhirendra Panda is founder members of CSNR and is working as Secretary-cum-Director since 2009. Officially he heads CSNR in this capacity. He holds more than 30 years of rich experience in the field of social work, community development, people-centered advocacy, action research and human rights. He has been associated with various state, national and international organizations and networks in different capacities.
Mr. Prasanta Kumar Panda is founder secretary of CSNR and is presently representing CSNR as Finance Secretary & Coordinator (Finance & Administration). He is currently leading both finance and administration wing of the organization. He is in CSNR since 2008. He has more than 15 years of experience in his field.
Dr. Pragnya Paramita Jena brings over a decade of research experience in the fields of Microfinance, Water Management Institutions, Women Empowerment, Disaster Management, Livelihoods, and Governance. She began her professional journey as a teaching faculty and has five years of academic experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.In 2015, she joined the Centre for Sustainable Use of Social and Natural Resources (CSNR) as a Research and Documentation Officer, where she has excelled in concept development, documentation, project formulation, and project implementation. Currently, she serves as Program Manager, leading initiatives focused on urban slum communities, advocating for their rights, entitlements, and overall development. Dr. Jena holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, and was awarded the prestigious ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship during her research at the Nabakrushna Choudhury Centre for Development Studies. She has authored and published over 10 research papers in reputed national and international journals and edited volumes. Her commitment to grassroots engagement, coupled with her academic rigor, reflects in her impactful work bridging policy, research, and practice.
Mr. Chandranath Dani, has wide experience in pro-bono lawyering on social litigations, human rights and people centered advocacy. He is associated with number of national and international networks and agencies. He is also connected with National & State human rights institutions for advocating issues on human rights violations of the oppressed, human rights defender's and in matters related to the failure of policy implementation. For last seven years he is with CSNR as Programme Manager.
Mr. Rashmi Ranjan Patnaik is with CSNR since 2014. He has 5 years experience in accounts & finance in NGO sector. He is currently looking after accounts & administration of the organization. He is a graduate in commerce (Honors & Distinction) and holds a master's degree in commerce from IGNOU.
Ms. Baijayantimala Swain has been associated with CSNR since 2023, primarily overseeing the organization's documentation processes. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Diploma in Psychology as well as post-graduation in Computer Application and Graphic Designing and Diploma in Professional Presentations Mastery with ChatGPT, Canva & AI. With over four years of experience working with specially abled children, she brings valuable insights into inclusive care and support systems. Additionally, she has over three and a half years of hands-on experience in counselling women and children affected by violence. Her expertise also includes in-depth case study writing, psychosocial support, and maintaining detailed documentation of interventions and outcomes.
Mr. Ajay Khosla is with CSNR as Project Coordinator, Access to Justice.
Mr. Jnyan Sagar Nayak, MSW has 13 years of experience in development sector. He has worked in the thematic issues of Health, Disaster Management, Education, Food and Nutrition Security as well as Access to Justice. He has been associated with CSNR since 2023 to extend facilitation support to victims/survivors of Domestic violence, trafficking, SC/ST atrocity, POCSO, Child Marriage, trafficking, migration, Dowry Prohibition in accessing legal aid/support services through engagement with Government line departments, Pro-bono lawyers, Para Legal Volunteers, Legal Literacy Clubs, CSO’s and local PRI’s towards increased access to justice & Welfare Services.

Ms. Sujata has been with CSNR as Assistant Project Coordinator, Empowerment. She holds Master degree in Sociology, Postgraduate diploma in computer application and Diploma in child education & Applied Psychology.
